Covid19 Update
Good News
From 27th April the restrictions on Dental Practice will be lifted to the ADA Level 2.
We will be able to provide most routine Dental Treatments again.
Ready to book an appointment?
To help protect our staff and patients, we kindly ask if you could call us and reschedule your appointment if:
- You have been overseas in the last 14 days
- Been feeling unwell; fever, cough, sore throat, stomach bug
- Been around anyone who has been unwell
- Believe you may have been exposed to COVID 19
Staying safe, healthy and preventing the spread of COVID 19 is of our upmost interest when treating you.
We also ask, to minimise the amount of people in our waiting room, so please leave other family members who do not have appointments at home.
“Is it safe to see the dentist”
Australian dental practitioners have the highest infection control standards in the world and the safety of their patients and their teams is a cornerstone of Australian dental practice.
We have always used and will continue to practice under Universal Precautions and under guidelines provided by the ADA and QIP national accreditation standards.
“What should I expect when I visit the dentist?”
During the COVID-19 pandemic, additional steps are being made to stop the spread of the virus.
You may see an empty waiting room and be asked to wash your hands or use hand sanitiser as you enter the practice and when you leave the treatment room.
All patients are temperature tested on arrival at their appointment.
Your dentist will ask you to do a mouthwash prior to treatment.
We are able to complete checkup and cleans but we will be using hand scalers during any appointments.
You will notice the dentist is using rubber dam to protect you when we do restorative treatment.
All of these measures are designed to minimise any risk to you and to the practice team.
Thank you again for your patience and continued support during this time of community uncertainty. We are here for you not only as health care professionals but also as members of the local community.
